I continued playing the game for more than 70 hours after I wrote down my first impressions on Black Desert Online. But it does certainly get better! The Review (75+ Hours of playing) So, I have to say that my first experience with Black Desert Online was mixed. For example, the endless dialogues and the long walking distances in between quests. This took me right out of the immersion of the game. However, I did run into some obstacles when I just started playing BDO. The combat is Black Desert Online is great. Although it is visually different for every class, the effect is the same. On the upside of things… The combat is amazing, this is really one of the best combat systems that I have seen in an MMORPG! It’s fluent and has combos that are easy to remember and are similar for every class. And those notifications that keep bothering you? You can easily turn those off in the options menu. Luckily, you can leave these things be and claim them later on. Many things were unclear to me and looked very similar to each other. It looked like stuff that I needed later on and would clutter my inventory. Once I checked the rewards in the bottom right I decided not to claim them.

I went from level 1 to 7 in about 2 to 3 minutes. I got a ton of notifications for Node Wars, there was unopened stuff in the bottom right of my screen and leveling was blazingly fast.
When I was done creating my character, I hopped into the game and immediately felt overwhelmed.

And in most cases you are able to modify that pre-made look as well! The Beauty Album full of pre-made looks by players Free gifts? You can choose a pre-made look for your character created by other players. If you’re not into that you can just use the beauty album in the bottom left of your screen. I sunk more than 20 to 30 minutes into creating my first character. You can modify almost every hair, your cheekbones, eye pupils and more. The character creation options are limitless. I downloaded Blade and Soul cuz it looked fun, especially the PvP, but knowing that I won't have the best gear without grinding, it makes me want to uninstall the game.When I first created my character I was astonished by the Character Creation options that Black Desert Online is famous for. So, my question is, is there a non-repetitive way to make gold, something that is not just running dungeons over and over, cuz that is boring for me. And the best gear right now is the Moonwater Valor Arena, at least what I've heard, so that also requires a lot of grinding, 20 emblems each piece. Oh yeah and let's not forget getting the best gems possible, which also cost some gold in the AH.

I haven't reached level 10 upgrade into profane, but I have a feeling that the weapon will also cost a lot of gold and resources to upgrade. My necklace earring and ring require 50 soulstones for upgrade, which means 30 silver X 50 = 15 gold for each + the other items that are required for the upgrade. Now, when I finished the story (reached the part with the Yura letter), and I am max level, I feel like it's just gonna be a long gold grind from now on. There were some repetitive elements in the levelling, like the quests where you have to kill a certain mob 10 times or something like that, but I felt like I was progressing, especially because there was a story. So, yesterday I reached level 45 on my first character.
